This portrait I shot of Tyler Porter made it into this month’s CMYK. I shot this portrait in Washington D.C. Tyler is a border patrol agent for the United States and was kind enough to let me follow him around for a day taking pictures!

I’m doing a photo documentary of a new organic farm in Northwest Georgia called Turtle Bend Farm. The farm was started a year ago by Mecca and Adam Lowe. I just wanted to post a few shots:

“The goal is to live a happy life. It’s never been about money. The goal is to be passionate about what I do and I think it’s going to show in my work.”
“People and time to myself inspire me. Reading a book or meditation or meeting people who I do and don’t agree with inspire me to do different things.”
“If you are truthful about being original, not copying someone else or biting someone else’s style, then you are being true to who you really are and it shows and prevails in your work, dance and other outlets in your life.”

I went to Ohio last weekend to visit my good friends Patrick, Domenic ( both moved there to work at Abercrombie and Fitch) and Kwi (who drove over from Detroit). I had a great time. It was very refreshing, even the cold and snow. Now back to work!
I’ve done a bit of traveling over the holidays. These two shots I took as I was leaving Rockmart to head down to Waycross, GA. I’m heading back to the ATL today to get back to work.
